Unidentified Location Discussion & How to Effectively Use Twitter

Recently a dedicated follower suggested when I twitter a prompt to attract attention to the blog; I include the location of the deceased victim. Her thought was simple. People from the State mentioned might be more willing to view the entry on the slightest chance they may have known the deceased.

It is true that if I tweet #CA people from California are probably more likely to view it than someone in #NV. The only complication is that the person might have been from Nevada and brought to California to be dumped.

These unidentified individuals are generally (not always) homicide victims. When someone is killed the killer may travel several states away to dispose of the lifeless body. Within the last year, I worked on a case wherein one body was dumped across several States; the skull was found in a different State than the legs and so on. Basically, this killer (most likely a truck driver) went to great lengths in disposing of the body and complicating the job for law enforcement.

I have taken under consideration that I do need to grab YOUR (the publics) attention any way I can to view these postings. Therefore, I am taking the suggestion to heart and mentioning States more frequently in my tweets. I’m also trying to reformat the tweets with just cold facts to see if that draws more attention. However with that being said, I’m going to continue with my creative tweets in the hopes they might grab someone’s attention regardless of location or date. I’ll do my best to mix up, change and keep fresh my tweets to grab attention. I am open to any and all suggestions on improving, changing or altering the way I tweet or get the word out in general. Please shoot over your ideas!

I need to grab YOUR (the publics) attention however I can. I need to grab the attention of those you are sharing this blog information with. I need to grab the attention of every person who lives or lived in or around these United States. With your help I can do that! Please continue to view these photos, read these stories, retweet the tweets and go offline and tell your family and coworkers about this blog! Please tell as many people as you can about this blog and ask them to do the same. With the PUBLICS help these people will find their identity, their family, and their peace!
