Genevieve Doe - Keepin’ It Real

If we had met somewhere along the way, I bet we might have been friends. Maybe we’d have gone out for a burger or a pizza and talked for hours - you, know, just keeping’ it real. Instead, I have to keep it real by telling you that we’ll never have the chance to do that anymore. I won’t get to grow old, spend any more time with my family and friends, or even go out for a pizza…because my life ended way too soon - and right now, no one seems to know who I am. This blogger is calling me Genevieve, but maybe you can be the one to give me back my real name; everybody deserves to have their own name, right?

So…what happened to me? On October 18, 2007, they found my remains along the side of the road in Bayonne, New Jersey, at what they call the ‘jug handle’ of Hook Road and Route 440. They aren’t sure how I died, but estimate it was only weeks prior to discovery. They do know I was a black female, between the ages of 16 and 20. I was between 5’2” and 5’5” tall and weighed somewhere around 118 to 138 pounds. I had my very own special sense of style! I was wearing a pink Pascal Tex brand tank top (size Medium), Vigoss brand camouflage pants (size 11/12), a black Puff brand bra with red lace around the cups (36C), pink Pascal brand boys short underwear, a silver body chain around my waist, a clear brown plastic ring on my right thumb and white ankle socks with orange toes and little green bears around the top. My hair was black with 28-inch long brown braided extensions.

Does any of this sound familiar? Were we friends? Does my face look like someone you used to know…or even someone you loved? Maybe we were neighbors or classmates; maybe we even went out for pizza! Are you the one who can finally help investigators give me back my name?

Who is BOB DOE?

I look like your average everyday male. There is nothing in particular that stands out about me. I don’t have any tattoos or notable features of any type. I must not no one is mentioning them actually no one is mentioning me much at all.

Here is one thing you can note down. I’m dead. That’s right. “D E A D!” Dead. I said it, you heard me say it. “D E A D.” On December 27, 2007, my body was found along side the railroad tracks on Edinger Ave, East of Red Hill, in Tustin, California. My cause of death remains a mystery; they have it marked, “undetermined.”

My identity should also be next to check box that reads “undetermined.” I had no identification nor did my fingerprints garner any results. Therefore, my identity remains a mystery, very much like how I died.

I was about 45 to 55 years old. I had brown eyes and brown hair. My teeth were not the greatest I had some decaying going on. I weighed about 161 lbs, but my height can not be determined. By all appearances, with the exception of some bad teeth, I look like your average middle aged white guy. Except somehow I died and no one knows my name. So I’m an average middle aged dead & unidentified white guy.

Is there any chance you can help restore my identity? They came up with a forensic sketch of what I looked like. They have the actual images available for anyone who knows me to view and determine for certain, if I’m your missing loved one. I had a recognizable face when they found me. So this is something, something to go on. If anyone out there thinks they know who I am, please come forward and contact the Sheriff’s office. Tell them who that average middle aged white guy is, so they can figure out what happened to me and most importantly, who I am!

Teeth! Are you kidding me?

Not much to go on. Who would have thought one day it was all going to boil down to my teeth. Celebrities have really good teeth right? Celebrities are called stars! Since it all boils down to my teeth, how about you call me Star Doe! Some might want to call me Marion but that’s so old fashioned. I like Star better! At least for now…

My understanding of how this works is you get to hear the details from the end of my life. Why? Because you don’t know who I am, so all you have are those final details. So let’s get busy.

On March 10, 2007 my remains were found on Victory Road in Northeast Marion County, Ohio. They don’t know for sure how long I had been on this Victory Road, but they guess it was anywhere from 2002 to 2007 possibly only months prior to them finding me.

Victory another great word! I guess it’s not one we’ll be using. At least not yet. I’m far from being victorious. Maybe you can help. Do you know me? I was somewhere between 5’3 and 5’9 and possibly 125 to 150 lbs (but that’s a huge guess). I had straight brown long to medium length hair. They say I was 15 to 22 years old. Pretty young! Also they guess that I’m White, but can’t rule out the fact that I might be Asian or Hispanic. They just want to throw you off! Ok so the best details available my teeth. That’s right my teeth - 1, 16, 17, 32 are unerupted/impacted. Can you believe that it all boils down to my teeth. I might be White. I might be 15. I might have weighed 125. I might have been 5’3. But when it comes to those impacted teeth there is no doubt. So if the other details seem remotely familiar like maybe it could be someone you love that is missing run fast to the DDS and get the records! Let’s find out if I’m your loved one.
