GEORGIA ROSE – Look at me!

Look at me. No really look at me. It might be the only way to help.

Today I sit before you with no story to share. I have little information to provide you with.

On June 25, 1993, my skeletal remains were found on the construction site at Shufflegrit Rd., Marietta, Georgia. The authorities estimate that I was thirty one to thirty six years old, that I stood 5’3 to 5’6 inches tall and weighed 100 to 120 lbs. When I was found I was wearing a white halter top, sleeveless tan jacket and a light weight elastic waistband slacks. For those of you who know jewelry or might recognize the jewelry of your missing loved one I was wearing a twenty four inch long strand of white beads with imprinted blue flowers separated by gold colored metal beads. I also had on multi colored bead earrings.

What you read above is all there is. It’s a sad state of affairs when the information provided is so limited that you are not sure what to do or where to go. Hence, becoming an unidentified woman and remaining such for the last seventeen years.

So when I tell you to look at me, really look at me, I mean it. I need you to see if I resemble anyone you might know. If my jewelry sounds like jewelry your loved one might have worn. This is the only way I’m going to get home. My family needs to know what happened to me. They deserve to know what happened to me. I want them to know what happened to me. I want to be able to rest in final peace knowing that right has been done by me. Help me find my identity and my family.

Please look at me!

Wanda Doe – Something Ain't Right!

I know all about the 'Code of Silence'. Nobody saw anything, nobody knows anything and – most of all – nobody says anything...but I need your help. (Please?) Will you be the person who can put the pieces together to give me back my identity? Do you have that all-important bit of information...and the courage to come forward?

On April 4, 1995, Atlanta police found me behind a crack house at 380 Atwood Street, buried in a shallow grave. I had been dead for several days and they aren't able to say how I died. Was I just passing by and witnessed something I shouldn't have seen, or was I possibly a customer? In any case, I surely didn't deserve such a grisly, anonymous ending!

What did I look like? Well, they say I could have been between 13 and 30 years old but was most likely a teenager. I was 5'7” or 5'8”, 140 pounds with brown eyes and dark brown, tightly curled hair that was cut very short (maximum length of 3 inches). My ears were pierced and I had a large gap between my two upper front teeth. I was an African American female. When they found me, I was wearing a size 16 light blue t-shirt with short sleeves, Bugle Boy jeans with a drawstring and elastic waist (color faded) with a 30-inch waist and 32 inches in length. My shoes were black, size 6 and a half, Adidas Dynaprene and my underwear (if it's anybody's business) was multi-colored with Tweety Bird on it. The label read “That's all, folks”. Kind of appropriate, I guess.

What really makes me mad is that someone (or several someones) knew enough about me to tell investigators that I may have used the name 'Wanda' – and that I often hung around the Ashby, Dill and Beecher Street areas. But that was all they knew. Was I a local? If so, why won't my friends step up and do the right thing: give me back my name? Something about that just ain't right!

Even if you can't tell them who I am or what happened to me, you can still help! Please pass my picture and my story along to everyone; you just never know who might hold that missing piece!

Freddie Aikers Doe – Okay

Okay you can call me Freddie Aikers Doe it’s as good as anything right now. Who knows maybe you’ll find out it is my name, minus the Doe part.

My story is not unlike many others featured here on this blog. Oh sure the circumstances vary and other factors change it up a bit; but the bottom line, well the bottom line is the always the same. I’m dead and you don’t know who I am. I’m one of America’s Unidentified. I hear they are calling us an epidemic. Well who cares, we’re dead. We only want one thing – our names! So who am I?

In the Mid 90’s my remains were located off Ridgeway Dr. and Hwy 515 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. There seems to be a tad dispute as to the actual year I was discovered. The coroners office puts out information that says March 23, 1997 and Doe Network says March 23 1995, rumors are surfacing that the 1995 might be the accurate date. I think at this point you should know both dates and about the discrepancy. Just in case.

They say I’m a white male, about 5’8 or taller, with long dark hair, a beard (maybe a mustache too – since the artist drew one), dark eyes, a slim build and I was between 40 and 50 years old. I dressed in a Western Style shirt and blue jeans. Why don’t we go with all that information, for now! What choice do we have? It’s the only information about my physical identity that exists.

What else can I tell you? Oh well more hearsay, but it turns out that some guy in jail who claims to have killed me led the authorities to my skeletal remains. Seeing as how he knew where I was he must of, done it, you know killed me, or at least knows who did and where I was dumped. So based on this guys account:
My name is Freddie Akers. I was a truck driver who owned his own rig. I was from West Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas or Oregon. On my truck route I stopped in Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Missouri and Arizona. My CB handle was “BA” or bad attitude and at some point I belonged to an MC, a motorcycle club, although he used the word gang.

I don’t know what deal this guy made to give up the whereabouts of remains. I don’t know if the information he is providing is even remotely accurate. Well actually, we’re talking about me, so I do know the answers to those questions. Just one problem. I’m dead. So you have to figure out if he’s telling the truth or telling stories.

What I do know that I can share from the great beyond is that I don’t have a name and my family still doesn't know what happened to me. So you’re gonna help old Freddie out? Get up off that … seat you’re sitting on and take some action? Not much just some? Tell others to look at my picture. Tell others to read this here blog thingy. And tell others to tell others to do the same thing. Get me my name back! It’s been too damn long. I’m ready to wrap this up. So get up and help me.

Hailey Doe: They know who I’m not!

A road crew was cleaning up about fifteen feet from a gravel road in a wooded area when my skeletal remains were found on March 24, 1992. Specifically, I was found on Oakley Road near Oakley Industrial Blvd, Union City, Fulton County, Georgia. It is possible I died a year prior to discovery.

It’s been years since they discovered me and they still have no idea who I might be, what my name is, where I came from or if my family is looking for me. Coincidentally, the authorities with help of volunteers have ruled out at least twenty missing teen girls across the United States.

What is known about me is that I was sixteen to twenty (possibly thirty) years of age, white, female, about one hundred and forty pounds, sixty-eight inches, with root canal work. I wore a size six in women’s panties (not that, that should be anyone’s business). More importantly, I had a size six Mother’s Ring with blue, pink and red clear stones.

I believe that someone is going to come forward and claim me as their daughter, sister or friend. I know that the authorities with help of the volunteers and you that one day soon everyone will know my name. My family will finally learn what happened to me, and I can be buried with a stone that reads

Georgia Jackson - I was under 25 when they found me.

Hi, I'm temporarily being called Georgia Jackson, by this blogger, until someone (YOU?) can tell the world my true name.

All we know is that on August 19, 2001, my decomposed body was found along the I-85, in Jackson County, Georgia.

It's estimated that I was about 17 to 24 years old. I was approximately 5'1 to 5'4, with black wavy hair about 6" long. I had several dental restorations, with my front teeth protruding and a slight gap in the middle.

I must have liked no boundaries clothes. I was found wearing a no boundaries halter top, no boundaries size 3, dark blue jeans and no boundaries underwear with FUBU white athletic socks.

Do you know me? Were you my dentist? Is it possible I lived by you, went to school with you, or worked with you? Maybe we frequented the same store. Perhaps you bagged my groceries or I bagged yours? Maybe you poured me a cup of coffee, or I poured you one? Please look at the photo they came up with depicting what I looked like. It's possible I looked a little different. Please look hard to see if you recognize me all. If you do, I beg you to call:

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Major David Cochran 706-367-8718
OR GBI’s Athens Office Special Agent Terry Cooper 706-542-7901
Reference #NCIC Number: U-170003891

You don't have to tell them your name, if you don't want to. Just tell them my name, where I lived, who my family is, where you might have seen me -- anything that might help them put my true identity to my remains, so I can finally rest in peace.

Thank you for trying to help me.
