Stan Doe--Found in the Atlantic Ocean

It’s been too long and I’m too old to tell you any stories, so we’re just jumping right in. No pun intended. On July 24, 2000, my body was found just miles off Jonesport, Maine, in the Atlantic Ocean.

No sugar coating here. The authorities estimate that I died just weeks earlier, in June 2000. They believe I was in my sixties and had gray hair. I was wearing a long sleeved blue knit pullover shirt with a collar as well as a white V-neck T-shirt, two pairs of tube socks, and a gray metal Casio watch. My dental work was distinctive in that I had a Nesbit partial denture span three teeth with one missing. The following were also noted as medical conditions Cardiac Hypertrophy, Coronary Atherosclerosis, Emphysema, and Nephrosclerosis. So I had some heart, lungs, and kidney issues; however, the cause of death was listed as undetermined because of the state of my remains.

So what happened to me? I guess it’s possible I had a heart attack and simply fell overboard in to the ocean. Yet, it seems odd no one noticed I was missing or saw me fall. Same thing for if I wanted to kill myself, you would think someone would notice me taking a nosedive off some ferry into the water. I guess its possible I rented a small fishing boat and jumped; heck, I might have even owned a small boat that would explain why no one saw me jump or fall into the water. Then there is always the cynical approach: someone else killed me and fed me to the fishes. Whatever the reason, death by accident, suicide, or murder, I’m still dead. The problem, at this point, is not how I died, but who the heck I am.

See the above gave you some facts, but with one large important piece of information missing--My Name! Who am I? They don’t know and they need your help to figure it out. So if my forensic reconstruction (image) looks familiar to you, give them a call. If you know someone who went fishing in the summer of 2000 off the port of Maine, or anywhere on the upper Eastern Coast, and never came home, call them. If you think any of this sounds like someone you know, call them. They need your help to figure out who I am.

Jimmy Doe – Music City USA

Was I from Nashville, Tennessee? Or maybe I was from right here in Berrien County, Michigan or a neighboring county. Someday someone will figure out where I’m from. You know that’s the day that I will get my true identity back. That will be the day you will learn my real name. Is that too much to ask; you know having my real name back, having a gravestone that reads my birth given name? Not only will I have my name back, but my family will finally know what happened to me. They must be missing me. I know they are missing me.

This is where you come in. I need you to help me find my family and my identity. They don’t know much about me. This is typical of course, you know being as though I’m a John Doe and all. If you feel better you can call me Jimmy Doe, at least temporarily until you figure out my true name.

So what they do know about me. Well like I said it’s not much. I’m Caucasian possibly Hispanic male, about 35 to 50 years old. My height is estimated to be anywhere from 5’2 to 5’7. I had dark brown to black straight hair. I was missing several teeth. My clothes were pretty average; I was wearing Wrangler blue jeans and a purple short sleeve shirt. One thing about my fairly average attire, my shirt read “Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee.”

You can make a couple guesses about my shirt. One would be that I’m from Nashville. Another might be that I traveled to or through Nashville at some point in my adult life. The shirt was a gift, or the least popular thought is that I purchased it from a second hand store and it has no meaning whatsoever. But if there is the slightest chance that the shirt means something, it’s important others know about it. Just in case my family can use that shirt and this sketch of me to help bring me home.

You are probably wondering what happened to me. Again, there is not much to tell you. On December 3, 2000 my remains were found in Benton Township, Michigan. Oh yeah, I was in a shallow grave. I mean that’s where they found me, in that shallow grave. After running tests and all they determined that I probably died three to nine months prior to them discovering me. So sometime earlier in 2000 I died. Somehow I ended up in a shallow grave. And they don’t know who I am!

That’s all there is to my story at this time. I need you to help me. One of the best ways for them to figure out who I am, since science hasn’t worked, is getting this forensic sketch of me circulated. Can you help me do that? Can you ask others to look at this handsome face and see if they know me? I’d surely appreciate it. I’d like to find my family and my identity. You might just be the one who can help me find them!

Not all crimes get solved! Rayburn Doe

The pre dawn hours of February 16, 2000 there was a shooting. The shooting was in a park. The park was located in the 5000 block of Fort Totten Drive, Washington D.C. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Another day. Another shooting. Another victim.

The police figured they could identify the victim by simply running his prints through the FBI database. Sure why not. He got shot, so he must be a criminal. No matches were made. The Police continued their investigation. They combed missing persons reports, ran DNA tests, and they walked the streets of their city trying to find out who this man was and what happened to him.

Unfortunately, the police haven’t been able to identify the shooting victim from those early morning hours eleven years ago. They don’t know what happened and they don’t know who he is. He is me. This is my unfinished story. I am now logged in the books as John Doe. Today, I get a new temporary name Rayburn Doe. Either way, it’s not my name.

I’m not going to be able to tell you what happened at the park on February 16th eleven years ago. Nor am I going to be able to tell you my name. I’m unable to communicate. So I need you to help me figure this all out. A man deserves his name.

I was an African American Male estimated to be in my late teens or early twenties. My hair was short, curly and black hair. You could see a stylish not overbearing beard and moustache. My height and weight averaged at 5’5 and 144 lbs. That morning I was wearing a Phat Farm logo t-shirt and blue jeans. Pay attention now these next details about me might be the most important

I had three very distinctive tattoos: the number 13 with an arrow as part of the number on my right shoulder,a panther on my right forearm, and a demon (in progress) on my back. Now did you catch that? I was in the process of having a new tattoo of a demon put on my back. This has got to register with someone.

Not all crimes get solved. But all people deserve a name. Help me find mine.

Sandra, Molly, Bet and Mary

You can call us Sandra, Molly, Bet and Mary if you want. The names are in order by our age from the eldest to the youngest. But those are not our names. We have been dubbed with Temporary Doe Names.

I’m Sandra, I’m 23 or 32 or somewhere in between. I may have been a mom. I was a woman. I was alive. Then I was found dead. Three children were also found dead. This is our story.

In November 1985, my remains along with that of a child approximately eight to ten years old were found stuffed inside of a 55 gallon metal drum. Disposed of like toxic waste. The drum was located near Bear Brook Garden Trailer Park near 22 Edgewood Drive in Allentown, New Hampshire. While the homicide report online shows the cause of death as withheld, the media reports that both of us were killed by blunt force trauma. It’s also been noted by several sources that our deaths were brutal and viscous. The child that was found with me may have a family connection to me. I was killed with this child and disposed near this trailer park sometime between 1977 and 1985.

The above seems horrid and unbelievable, but it gets worse. In May 2000, another metal drum was discovered only but a mere 100 yards away. This drum contained two children. Both children had been murdered. One of these two children the youngest, one to three years of age is also believed to be my child. From testing the third child age four to eight years old cannot be confirmed as being related. Two more children, whether my blood or not, most definitely I cared for them, I loved them and I feared for them! They were found 15 years after they discovered me. They had only been 100 yards away. My child. My agony. My pain.

Here is what little information there is that might help you:

SANDRA DOE– 23 to 32 years old, given birth, stood about 5’2 to 5’7, and had curly light brown hair approximately four inches long

MOLLY DOE – 5 to 10 years old, approximately 4'3 tall, had double-pierced ears, and had dark blonde or light brown hair

BET DOE – 4 to 8 years old, approximately 3'8 tall and had a noticeable overbite

MARY DOE – 1 to 3 years old child was approximately 2'5 tall and had fine blonde hair, approximately 8 to 12 inches in length

We were all White or Native American.

Can you help us? Can you help pass around the forensic images that might help identify us? Will you ask everyone you know to pass around our images and our story? Someone out there must know who we are. Someone out there must be missing us. Please help us find our way home. These children deserve headstones with their given names.

UPDATED NOTE OCT 2011:
*These victims have a potential family connection. Department of Justice is waiting for Nuclear DNA tests that are pending to learn more about the family relations. The above was modified slightly to remove any affirmation that she was a mother or the mother of these children.

Update Note June 2013
Tests have confirmed that she is the mother to two of these young victims.  The third child also appears to have a family connection.

Arkansas Rose: I need a real name! Do you know me?

My life ended on January 24, 2000. I was very young they estimate that I was only in my early 20's. I was found engulfed in flames in the parking lot of the College Avenue Baptist Church at 6100 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, CA. I had my whole life ahead of me. What happened?

Some very cruel and inhuman person or persons felt I needed to die. I'm wrought with grief in the gruesome manner of which my life was taken. My autopsy read "The woman had been stabbed and strangled to death. In addition, both of her hands and a portion of her left calf were missing, presumably cut off by the suspect to prevent authorities from identifying her." Who would have done this to me?

While I would love to bring the criminal(s) to justice, first I need to know who I am. Can you help identify me?

I was white.
I was in my 20's.
I was about 5'9 to 5'10.
I was 190 to 200 lbs.
I had light brown hair.

The doenetwork reported that I might have been from Arkansas originally.

Were you in San Diego in 2000? Did you go to church with me? Did you go to school with me? Was I your neighbor? Did I dance in a club you attended? Did I work at the local coffee house?

Are you missing a loved one in Arkansas that might fit my description?

Please someone, anyone, help me find my identity. If you know me call the police and tell them. If you know what happened call the police and tell them. If you heard a story that fits this one, call the police and tell them. I'll be eternally grateful. My family deserves to know what happened to me. If you can help please please do!
